Opal Kennel prides themselves in the dogs they have owned and produced over the years.  33 years has gone bye with the showing of purebred dogs. Breeding Border Collies, Australian Cattle Dogs (Queensland Heelers), Australian Shepherds, American Pit Bull Terrier and American Staffordshire Terriers, we have done extensive research in many other breeds as well.  Starting out in a family of dog professionals and top ranked breeders, trainers, handlers and judges it makes second nature to be a dog oriented person myself.
We have owned numerous breeds including the above mentioned as well as Kelpies, McNabs, English Springer Spaniels, German Shepherds, French Bulldog, Boston Terrier, Pembroke Welsh Corgi's, Dog De Bordeaux, Doberman Pinchers, and quite a few mixed breeds to boot.

Genetics, Nutrition and Structure make it all happen, inside and out.

So now we have taken a long break from the breeding and the show ring to build "virtual kennels".
